Launch of EV Lease

After more than a year’s planning and preparation, the EV Lease team is thrilled (and relieved) to finally launch. So, who are we?

EV Lease is a team of experienced auto lease professionals who share a real interest in plug-in electric cars. After months of research and test-driving numerous models, we can see that the driving future of Australians will include an increasing share of EVs. They’re quiet, refined, smooth, clean, convenient and super quick. What’s not to like?

So where does EV Lease fit in? Well, our research found while many individuals, government agencies and businesses are keen to understand electric cars, and would even drive one, there remain several concerns: up front price, future value, battery longevity, understanding charging, and cost to run. EV Lease seeks to reduce these concerns through an all-inclusive operating lease. Just pay the monthly rental and charge the car. We look after the rest. It really couldn’t be easier.

We also know that the world of electric cars is confusing. We have spent many hours researching what has been happening in overseas markets and investigating technologies such as solar, and charging options. It’s our aim to give you the best information possible and help you discover if an EV is right for you. We are not evangelists and we will be honest with you if we think an electric car will not suit your circumstances.

Our team has great experience in fleet leasing too. If you’re looking to start decarbonising your fleet, we can help. We can also connect you with others in the industry who can help with charging, solar, and the design of a comprehensive decarbonisation strategy. Just ask.

We intend to publish a new blog entry each month bringing you news from Australia and around the world relevant to our electric car journey. You can even plug yourselves into some of the best sources: we recommend the EV News Daily podcast – a great summary of all the important EV stories from around the globe each day. For test drives and other interesting titbits, you could subscribe to the YouTube channel of Bjorn Nyland in Norway (where 75% of new car sales are plug-in EVs!). See attached links.
